Cari Amici,
Noi tutti siamo sotto il misterioso, indescrivibile potere Divino di Maya che nell’uomo si manifesta principalmente nell’attività mentale. La mente non fa altro, con l’aiuto e la complicità dei sensi, che attirarci all’esterno, verso il mondo del transitorio e del futile, facendoci dimenticare la Realtà che è nascosta nelle profondità del nostro cuore. Andiamo all’esterno alla ricerca di gioia e felicità che regolarmente ci sfuggono perché tutte le cose che i nostri sensi possono afferrare sono soltanto passeggere e ci danno una soddisfazione solo momentanea, per poi farci ripiombare in nuovi desideri che, anche se soddisfatti, non ci daranno mai la pace ma solo attaccamenti, che non sono altro che nuove catene.
Seguiamo il consiglio di Swamiji e andiamo alla ricerca di quella pace e felicità eterna che si può trovare solo ai Santi Piedi del Signore. Andiamo alla Sua ricerca e cerchiamolo nel luogo che è più vicino a noi, nel nostro cuore!

Maya – Il Potere Divino di Swami Chidananda  

Quel misterioso, indescrivibile potere del Divino, è chiamato Maya nella filosofia Hindu. Lei è l’Illusione Cosmica. Ma dove dimora? Maya o lo stato di dimenticanza del Sé, lo stato d’ignoranza, lo stato d’illusione, è nel livello psicologico interiore. Consiste in un costante stato di coinvolgimento nel transitorio mondo esteriore di nomi e forme. La mente, come Maya, è sempre rivolta verso l’esterno. E’ decentralizzata e proiettata all’esterno. E’ incapace di rimanere focalizzata su un singolo punto per più di pochi secondi, muovendosi incessantemente da un oggetto all’altro.
La mente desidera sempre nuove esperienze. Essa si attacca ai nomi e alle forme esteriori tramite il potere dei cinque sensi. E’ resa schiava da questi sensi negli oggetti di quest’universo, pensando che la sua felicità si trova lì. Sviluppa un attaccamento per essi e vuole possederli. Si sviluppa l’idea: “Questo è mio. Io voglio questo, io voglio quello”. Così l’anima individuale è presa nella morsa dell’attaccamento, ed a causa di questo, sviluppa egoismo, diventa attaccata all’esperienza dei sensi, attaccata al corpo. Così si riempie di egoismo, egotismo, cupidigia e senso di possesso. E’ spinta ad andare in un continuo giro di desideri provocato da un’attività egoistica, da un’attività sensuale. E quando i desideri vengono esauditi, essi diventano solo più intensi; essi non si calmano. Più soddisfate i desideri più intensi essi diventano. Continuano a moltiplicarsi. Più l’anima corre nella direzione di un’attività egoistica, verso la vasta molteplicità di oggetti dei sensi più la mente diventa confusa. Diventa completamente irrequieta e distratta.
Fino a quando voi siete attaccati, siete in uno stato di schiavitù. Il non attaccamento è l’unica porta verso la Liberazione. La vostra schiavitù è causata da Maya. Avidya Maya è l’ingannatore cosmico. Avidya significa ignoranza, grossolanità, mancanza di luce. Ma Maya è capace di concedere anche la liberazione, perché essa è anche Vidya Maya (Vidya è saggezza). Se Maya è graziosa verso un’anima individuale, la schiavitù di quell’anima termina immediatamente.
Rivolgete la mente all’interno e cercate di fissarla sull’oggetto interiore (il Sé). Risolutamente ritirate la mente, fissatela su quella Realtà interiore. Prendete rifugio nel Signore. Il suo Nome vi darà il potere di superare tutto. Sviluppate amore e un acuto desiderio per Dio. La gioia verrà a voi da Quello soltanto. Uno che bussa alla porta del Signore, non è mai assalito dall’angoscia, perché Egli è l’acme d’ogni perfezione, di tutte le virtù, di tutte le cose positive. Marciate in avanti, e cercate di raggiungere la cima.

 

Il Segreto di una vita fruttuosa  

Il segreto di una vita progressiva e fruttuosa è di essere interiormente sempre legati a Dio, uniti con l'Essere Cosmico. Quando non c'è connessione, quando separi te stesso dalla sorgente del tuo essere, allora la tua vita sarà piena di dolore e sofferenza, miseria e paura, e le negatività prevarranno. Se vuoi porre fine a questo, il solo modo è quello di legare te stesso a Dio, che è la tua sorgente, la tua origine. Mantieni questa connessione sia attraverso l'indagine e la discriminazione, sia attraverso il costante ininterrotto ricordo e la devozione per Dio, sia attraverso la meditazione ed il continuo pensiero di Brahman, sia attraverso la costante adorazione e dedicando tutte le attività a Lui. Allora, giorno dopo giorno il tuo spirito comincierà a svilupparsi, crescerà, si svilupperà, progredirà, si espanderà e tu raggiungerai l'esperienza divina.
Così ricorda che la separazione da Dio è la causa principale di tutte le miserie umane. Poni fine a questo, sforzati seriamente di raggiungere quello stato supremo di essere costantemente in unità ed in sintonia con il Supremo e di superare le angosce del Samsara.

We are all under mysterious indescribable power of the Divine Maya that humans occurs mainly in the activity of mind. The mind does nothing, with the help and complicity of the senses, that draw us outward to the world of the transient and trivial, making us forget the reality that is hidden in the depths of our hearts. Go outside to find joy and happiness that eludes us regularly for all things that our senses can grasp are only temporary and they give only temporary satisfaction, then let us slip back into that new desires, even if fulfilled, there will never be peace but only attachments, which are nothing but new chains.
We follow the advice of Swamiji and go in search of that peace and eternal happiness that you can only find the Holy Feet of the Lord. Let's go to your research and seek Him in the place that is closer to us, in our hearts!

Maya - Divine Power by Swami Chidananda
The mysterious, indescribable power of the Divine, is called Maya in Hindu philosophy. She is the Cosmic Illusion. But where he lives? Maya or the state of forgetfulness of self, the state of ignorance, the state of illusion, is in the inner psychological level. It consists in a constant state of involvement in the transient outer world of names and forms. The mind, like Maya, is always toward the outside. It is decentralized and projected to the outside, unable to stay focused on one spot for more than a few seconds, moving restlessly from one object to another.
The mind always wants new experiences. It attaches to names and outward forms through the power of the five sens, and is enslaved by these senses in the objects of this universe, thinking that his happiness is there. Develops an affection for them and want to own them. It develops the idea: "This is mine. I want this, I want that ". In this way the individual soul is taken in the grip of attachment, and because of this, selfishness develops, it becomes attached to the experience of the senses, attached to the body. So is filled with selfishness, egotism, greed and possessiveness. It is driven to move in a constant round of activity caused by selfish desires, from sensual activity. And when the desires are fulfilled, they become only more intense and they do not subside. Longer satisfy the desires they become more intense. Continue to multiply. More blood runs in the direction of an egotistical, to the vast multiplicity of objects of the senses as the mind becomes confused. Become completely restless and distracted.
As long as you are attacked, you are in a state of slavery. Non-attachment is the only door to liberation. Your bondage is caused by Maya. Avidya Maya is the cosmic trickster. Avidya means ignorance, rudeness, lack of light. But Maya is able to provide it with the release, because it is also Maya Vidya (Vidya is wisdom). If Maya is gracious towards an individual soul, the soul of slavery ends immediately.
Aim inside the mind and try to fix the inner object (the Self). Resolutely withdrawn the mind, fasten on the inner Reality. Take refuge in the Lord. His name will give you the power to overcome everything. Develop a keen desire for love and God's joy will come to you from That only. Someone who knocks on the door of the Lord is never assailed by anguish, for he is the acme of all perfection, all virtue, all good things. March forward and try to reach the top.

 

The secret of a fruitful life
The secret of a progressive and fruitful life is inwardly always be connected to God, united with the Cosmic Being. When there is no connection, when separating yourself from the source of your being, then your life will be full of pain and suffering, misery and fear, and negativity will prevail. If you want to put an end to this, the only way is to tie yourself to God, that is your source, your home. Keep this connection is through the investigation and discrimination, both through the constant uninterrupted remembrance and devotion to God through meditation and the constant thought of Brahman, and through constant worship and dedicating all activities to Him So day after day your spirit will begin to grow, grows, develops, progresses, it will expand and you will attain the divine experience.
So remember that the separation from God is the root cause of all human miseries. Put an end to this, seriously endeavored to achieve the supreme state of being constantly in unity and in harmony with the Supreme and to overcome the anxieties of Samsara.
