CONSIGLI PER LA PRATICA LEZIONI 2013-2014 - TIPS FOR PRACTICE LESSONS 2013-2014

Sequenza di aprile/maggio 2014 - Elemento spazio o etere (Akasha) / Sequence april/may 2014 - Element space or ether (Akasha)

Dall'Akasha derivano spazio e tempo.

La pratica bilancia l'elemento spazio attraverso tutti i meridiani  e centra le energie all'interno del corpo.

Akasha, usually translated with space or ether , indicating the Samkhya (one of the six main 'visions' or Darshana of the world drawn from the hindu thought) the first of the five maha-bhuta or gross elements (the others being air, water, fire and earth) whose tanmatras (subtle elements: sound, touch , color, taste and smell) are the substrate. The atom corresponds to the Akasha tanmatras sound. Linked to the color of sea water or transparent , to the syllable HA or the point (bindu) in which each sound is dissolved, to a point-like figure , in Sadashiva (one of the forms of the god Shiva), has its headquarters in the ear in the head and the throat chakra Vishuddha, the circle of energy located in the neck. The taste (rasa) that distinguishes it is bitter. In the hands is represented by the energy of the middle finger or the finger of heaven, which is associated with the planet Saturn, as guardian of the threshold at the gates of Heaven, where we are asked to give an account of our lives. Vishuddha chakra represents purity, morality, knowledge , expanding consciousness , the complete harmony; represents the purity of the gates, which open when the student is pure in spirit and heart. However, in order to progress on the spiritual path we must first carry out our duties on earth.

So far the scope of application of the Tantric term.

According to Patanjali Yoga instead of the Akasha is the empty space in which the motion of things happens, the container where the objects are placed and move.

Derived from the Akasha space and time.

The practice balance the element space through all meridians and centers the energies within the body.

Sequenza di maggio/giugno 2014 - Lo sforzo cosciente su di sé (Tapas) / Sequence may/june 2014 - The conscious effort of self (Tapas)

Any human being on Earth who want to get something you submit to a discipline, and so those who practice Yoga, but especially those who teach it. Let's talk about Tapas: Yoga promises of very nice things, but absolutely need a form of control, restriction of our activities. You can not teach if you do not what you are. Therefore, the success in your practice and in your teaching will depend on how dedicated you to yourself to pursue a daily goal. That's why the sankalpa (resolution, positive thinking, affirmation), which is why reading. We can refer to Patanjali who in the first chapter of the Yoga Sutras promises us various forms of paradise, Samadhi (SAMADHI PADA). In the second chapter explains what is the path we must take (SADHANA PADA) and Tapas is the first word that has several meanings: ardor of research, inner fire, discipline, all of which is important to consider, because to get anything we commit, submit to a discipline. We must learn to love the discipline, finding in it the reason and the strength to go on, because what would we do without discipline? Eat, drink, sleep: this is human nature that is contrary to the divine nature that is within us. We try to cultivate in us the idea of the discipline: this helps us to find consistency in our daily work, in our physical and meditative practice because it is just so that you then collect the results. We set the goals, but not ordinary, goals high. All the things of the world have obscured the vision, we believe that reality as we know it is the real one. But this is the great illusion. A fact that can be torn in a second. Here, then, the magnitude of the lessons that we continue to receive mainly by the likes of Swami Sivananda who also had a Western culture, was a medical doctor and therefore knew the problems and sufferings of men. That we can penetrate the profound meaning of these teachings to learn to look away from the ordinary things, because it is here that we have a permanent residence.

Tapas is part of Niyama (means ''moderation'', ''respect'', ''rule''), along with Svadhyaya (meaning ''education ego'') and Isvara-pranidhana (meaning ''resignation or abandonment to God''), composed Kriya Yoga.

Normally the practice of Tapas starts with very simple exercises, which in successive stages become more difficult, which test the strength of the will of the adept, with the aim of producing a gradual separation of consciousness from the lower vehicles, causing attenuation Asmita, the consciousness that says:''I am the one''. Only reaching (at least partially) this power of separating the consciousness from a vehicle, or do not identify with the body, the sadaka (practitioner) will monitor and purify the vehicles themselves, allowing them to use them for the purpose of Yoga.

Tapas with the yogi develops strength of body, mind and character, acquires courage, wisdom, integrity, honesty and simplicity.

Practice to warm the body and burn the impurities and remove the toxins in preparation for the summer solstice.
